The MST210S-0024-FT-N0CN-D302 is a 240 Nm torque motor from the IndraDyn T series from Rexroth that is responsible for all kinds of industrial rotary equipment in an industrial plant. This motor comes with an IP 65 protection rating suitable for use in the wet and dusty environment of an industrial plant or an offshore oil rig where the environment can be quite humid. To ensure this motor does not get affected by humidity, the MST210S-0024-FT-N0CN-D302 comes with a maximum humidity range of 95%.

This motor is not only great for generating high torque of up to 500 Nm but is also great for applications that demand high levels of speed. The maximum speed offered by this motor is 600 rpm which helps this motor be a great choice for applications where speed is also an important factor. When operating at maximum operational levels, this motor draws around 90 amperes of current which is a very considerable amount of current drawn by this motor as the proportional torque generated is of larger magnitude. When the operational temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius or less this motor is able to generate 10 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that it consumes. This motor comes with a quick thermal time constant of 2.4 minutes.

The reason why this motor does not take a very long time to cool down is the inclusion of a liquid cooling option where this motor with the help of liquid, cools the copper coil of the torque motor ensuring the motor remains cool during high speed and heavy duty operation. The liquid cooling option uses various types of coolants to help cool the motor on the go during heavy-duty operation.
