The MST210A-0027-FT-N0CN-NNNN from the IndraDyn T series of synchronous motors is the perfect blend of torque and speed with 50 Nm of torque and 270 rpm speed, making it ideal for medium to low demanding applications. This liquid-cooled torque motor can sustain a maximum ambient temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius ensuring the liquid cooling option remains effective. Users can utilize various types of liquid coolants but should refer to the manufacturer-provided documentation for compatibility.
There are several features offered by this torque motor, one of which is the use of a serial communication protocol that helps control this torque motor using a compatible control module from Rexroth or a third-party controller that is compatible with this model. To control this motor over a network, Rexroth recommends using a network module that features an Ethernet communication protocol with which this motor is also compatible. It is essential to install this motor in an EMI-free area to prevent noise interference that may affect communication and operation.
To power this torque motor, a voltage supply of 290 volts AC nominal is required with a current of at least 7 Amperes to operate in nominal mode, while the maximum current required is 25 Amperes. Ensure the use of a supply module capable of providing such high levels of current. This motor offers a torque constant of 7.1 Nm per ampere, ensuring high efficiency in terms of current consumption.
