With a speed rating of 500 rpm, the MST161E-0050-FT-N0CN-NNNN is a high-torque rotary motor that can generate a rated rotational torque of up to 105 Nm while providing a maximum rotational torque of 270 Nm at the maximum speed of 1000 rpm. This motor is one of the only ones in the entire series that offers a speed of up to 1000 rpm along with a medium rotational torque. This motor is perfect for both high-speed applications as well as applications that require high levels of rotational torque.
This motor offers a liquid cooling option where the motor uses liquid coolant to help cool the winding coil of the motor to ensure low-power dissipation levels and to ensure efficient operation of the motor. The rated power loss for liquid cooling is around 3 kW. The coolant temperature at the inlet should be around 10 to 40 degrees Celsius while the coolant flow rating is around 4.3 liters per minute. The pressure drop rating for the liquid cooling is around 0.1 bar while the permissible inlet pressure is around 3 bars. The volume of the coolant duct is around 0.26 liters.
This motor does not come with an encoder but can be paired up with a compatible controller along with various sensors and tracking devices to help ensure the positioning of the shaft is as accurate as possible. This motor can be directly mounted on a process system or to the component of interest using the correct flange size. The motor is a direct drive motor and does not need a gear system or a shaft lock and key mechanism to attach a load to its shaft.
