If you need a highly powered servo motor that is able to provide a nominal torque of 70 Nm all the way up to 180 Nm, then MST161C-0140-FT-N0CN-NNLE is the perfect option for such high torque production and can be easily used in rotary equipment in an industrial plant. This torque motor has a very compact design as it comes with a frame of size C along with a centering diameter of 160 mm and a weight of 13.9 kg, making it very easy to be mounted via a flange mounting option with a maximum altitude for mounting of 1000 meters above sea level.
Make sure to mount this motor in a well-ventilated, dust-free, and moisture-free area, as the motor is not sealed and does not offer an Ingress Protection rating. This motor, along with the natural convection cooling method, comes with a liquid cooling option that is used to cool the core of the motor to help it run efficiently during high torque rotation, as this motor is able to draw a current between 13 to 40 amperes.
The motor does come with a black prime paint that acts as a sealant for the exterior of the motor to help keep it safe against corrosion, especially when installed in a highly humid climate. The motor comes with a humidity rating of a maximum of 95%, which ensures this motor can be installed near large water bodies, although it is not recommended for it to come in contact with water, as it does not feature any kind of waterproof protection. The insulation class according to the EN60034-1 German standards is Class F, with a maximum temperature of 170 degrees Celsius.
