For applications that tend to require high output that may leave an industrial motor running hot, the MST161C-0140-FT-N0CN-D303 is the perfect choice as it comes with the liquid cooling option to help cool the motor during high-speed and heavy-duty operation as well as it comes with a power rating of 3.7 kW. This is a torque motor from Rexroth's IndraDyn T series of motors that are installed under a rotating component to help transmit torque needed for the process operation to take place.

The IndraDyn T series of motors comes with a stator MST and a rotor MRT in their design needed for this motor to run with synchronous speed using the induction process, where the stator of the motor generates the necessary electromagnetic field needed for the rotor to rotate. This motor features 15 pole pairs that are required to generate the necessary electromagnetic fields, while each pole is powered through a 3-phase input supply ranging between 190 Volts AC to 480 Volts AC along with an input operating frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The stator on this motor comes with a laminated core with multipolar winding that is covered with a liquid cooling jacket to allow the coolant to flow through, helping keep the laminated core under recommended operating temperatures between 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.

The motor's Thermal insulation rating is set at 170 degrees Celsius, which translates to a class F protection rating against fires or high heat signatures of the stated temperatures. To help enhance the liquid cooling option, make sure to install this motor in a well-ventilated room that ensures a continuous flow of air into the motor housing.
