For applications that require a medium level of rotational torque along with moderate level speeds, the MST130G-0100-FT-N0CN-D303 is a great choice as it not only offers a respectable 31.5 Nm of torque but also a nominal speed of 350 rpm. This torque motor had a power rating of 1.2 kW along with a current draw rating of 4.9 Amperes which is also known as the line current. With 10 pole pairs or 20 magnetic poles, the torque motor can easily generate three required magnetic field strengths needed to rotate this servo motor at high speeds.
This motor does not come with a protection rating but does feature a sealant paint on its body to help keep it safe against corrosion or oxidation when installed in a highly humid environment. The maximum humidity withstood by this motor is at 89% making this motor perfect for most environmental conditions. Make sure to keep this servo protected in an enclosure or a shielded box to prevent it from being affected by dust or water.
One of the main features of the MST series of torque motors is the inclusion of a liquid cooling option, however, with this motor, the MST130G-0100-FT-N0CN-D303 can only be cooled with the help of natural convection cooling method so it is recommended to install this motor in a well ventilated area. Since the absence of a fan or any other cooling device, the MST130G-0100-FT-N0CN-D303 has a noise level rating of 75 dB with a distance limit of 1 meter from the torque motor. Using a noise suppressing attachment is not recommended with this torque motor as it may affect the output results.
