Designed to be installed in turn tables and other rotating process control systems, the MST130E-0020-FT-N0CN-D303 from Rexroth IndraDyn T series is a torque motor that offers a really impressive rotational torque of 42 Nm while rotating at a slow and accurate rotational speed of 200 rpm. For high-speed heavy-duty mode, this torque motor is able to increase its torque output with an increase in speed up to 65 Nm with a maximum speed of 700 rpm.
The FT configuration of this motor specifies the use of a liquid cooling option where the motor with the help of varying liquid coolants ensures the coil and the overall body of the servo motor remain cool. The liquid coolant can be a compound of liquid nitrogen or simply water to help the motor cool at a quicker pace. The liquid at the inlet should always be at a temperature between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius along with a pressure of 3 bars at the inlet to keep the overall pressure in the system under a safe pressure equilibrium limit.
This is a low-power rated servo motor with a power rating of just 0.9 kW and requires a current draw of up to 7.5 Amperes. The torque constant for this servo is 5.6 Nm per ampere of current which makes sure that this servo motor is able to provide a high level of output with low current input.
