The MST110A-0230-NC-N0CN-NN03 is a frameless synchronous torque motor kit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. Supplied as separate rotor and stator components, it is intended for direct integration into machine frames that require low-speed, high-torque rotation without intermediate gearing. Applications such as indexing tables, rotary cutters, and form-fill-seal mandrels benefit from its tight coupling to the driven shaft, which eliminates backlash and improves positional accuracy. The open geometry also permits custom bearing, seal, and cooling arrangements around the stator bore.
Heat generated in the windings is removed through a liquid-cooled jacket, so the magnetic circuit stays below its thermal limits during sustained stall torque operation. The three coils are arranged in a three-phase configuration, which produces balanced electromagnetic fields and compatibility with standard servo inverters. With an IP00 degree of protection, the motor must be installed inside an enclosure where ambient contamination and shock hazards are controlled. The stator laminations use a laminated core design that reduces eddy-current loss and increases efficiency at low electrical frequencies. Signal and power lines exit in an axial direction on the larger-diameter side, which simplifies cable routing on rotary tables.
