Its permanent-magnet design supports closed-loop motion control with compatible IndraDrive servo amplifiers, and its compact footprint suits miniature machinery with limited installation space. The motor is intended for compact axes that require repeatable positioning and stable speed control in a small package.
At standstill, the rotor can deliver a continuous torque of 1.30 Nm, allowing precise holding and slow-speed positioning under constant current. Heat generated at this operating point is removed by natural convection, so no external fan or liquid circuit is required. The motor is equipped with an electrically released brake that holds the shaft when power is removed and releases when brake power is restored.
