The MSM031C-R300-NN-M5-MH1 synchronous motor belongs to the MSM series of servo motors designed by Bosch. It comes with a maximum torque of 3.8 Nm, torque constant of 0.28 at 20 degrees Celsius, 4 pole pairs, approximate weight of 1.2 kilograms, and a maximum speed of 5000 rpm. The housing of the motor is made of aluminum pressure casting. It offers a battery box with a ready-to-use lithium battery with 3.6 Volts and 1800 mA of ratings. The feedback system of the MSM031C-R300-NN-M5-MH1 motor has an absolute, multiturn optical encoder with 20 bits of resolution. It provides a continuous output of 400 watts. The shaft of this maintenance-free motor provides an IP40 of protection rating. It uses 220 millimeters length of connection cable for the encoder and a 200-millimeter cable for output connection.
