In packaging machines, pick-and-place axes, or small conveyor stations, this motor converts electrical power from a servo drive into controlled rotary motion. The permanent-magnet design, compact frame, and integrated feedback devices allow the drive controller to command position, velocity, and torque with the accuracy required in light-duty industrial automation. This arrangement supports smooth motion on compact axes that require repeatable starts, stops, and short positioning moves.

Its continuous stall torque is 1.30 Nm, meaning the shaft can hold that torque continuously without exceeding the winding temperature limit. Heat produced during operation is removed by natural convection, so no external fan or liquid circuit is required and the housing fins must remain exposed to ambient air.
