Product Description:
The MSM030C-0300-NN-M0-CG0 is a brushless AC motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the MSM IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for light-duty handling and assembly stations where compact axes must move quickly and repeatably. The unit translates drive current into tightly regulated shaft rotation so that pick-and-place arms, index tables, or miniature conveyors can accelerate, decelerate, and hold position with repeatable accuracy while keeping mechanical complexity low.
The stator windings release heat to ambient air by means of natural convection, eliminating additional fans or coolant circuits and simplifying enclosure ventilation. All power, feedback, and protective earth conductors exit the housing through a factory-installed cable tail, so wiring is completed without the bulk of on-motor plugs and with fewer connection points at the motor body. Position data come from a multiturn absolute encoder that records several shaft revolutions and sends them to the drive, allowing startup without a homing cycle after power is restored. Because the motor is supplied without a holding brake, any static load must be secured by external clamping or closed-loop torque. The Motor length C configuration gives the housing a longer body in the 030 frame and provides extra active stack height for higher continuous torque.
The motor has a frame designation of motor size 030, which uses a 30 mm rotor stack diameter and helps balance inertia with space limits in compact machines. Its winding code 0300 allows compatible drives to use the proper current limits and commutation tables for stable operation. As a synchronous motor, the unit uses permanent magnets to keep speed and torque aligned with the commanded frequency, which supports accurate motion during repeated start-stop cycles.
