The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CG1 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured to drive machinery. This synchronous motor was manufactured by the engineering giant, Bosch Rexroth. Synchronous servo motors are used to drive machinery synchronously. It has a rotating field found in the stator. It is the rotating field that allows the motor to drive machinery synchronously using the applied permanent magnets. MSM stands for permanent Magnet Stepper Motor. The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CG1 comes in a compact design and with great features like a dynamic response, holding brake, a unique encoder that guarantees accuracy, an IP54 rate of protection. The protection rate, IP54 simply implies protection against the ingress of both liquid and solid objects. This implies that the MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CG1 is well protected against environmental factors.

In the manual, Bosch Rexroth has advised that you do a compatibility test with new materials such as new cleaning agents, lubricants. This would help in ascertaining if the new material is compatible with the controls and drives. The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CG1 supports only flange mounting.
