The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CC0 synchronous motor belongs to the MSM series by a leading electric drives and controls technology group known as Indramat Bosch Rexroth. The German-American technology group is known for producing PLC systems, motion & logic controls, drives, devices servo motors, firmware, and other related accessories. The IndraDyn S MSM series is specifically meant for compact Indramat drives and it is available in five different sizes. The maintenance-free MSM servo motor features shorter length and minimized flange dimensions as compared to other similar alternatives. Moreover, the MSM motors have a continuous mechanical power of up to 750W.

The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CC0 synchronous motor features a strong IP54 housing that keeps its components safe from dust, dirt and water splashes. Moreover, it offers sufficient insulation and natural convection cooling to keep the ambient temperature below 40 degree Celsius. The powerful winding ensures high speed, up to 5000 RPMs, and the rated speed of 3000 RPMs. The servo motor by Rexroth Indramat has a rated torque of 0.30 Nm and it can generate a maximum torque up to 0.95 Nm. The motor-top features an electrical connection and a multi-turn absolute encoder. The superfast encoder features a speed of 6000 RPMs and offers 17+16 bit resolution along with a capability to detect motor’s absolute position within 65,536 revolutions. The optional holding brake is not available in this particular model.

The IndraDyn S synchronous motor features a special 25-mm shaft with an 8mm diameter. The shaft is attached to a bearing that has a life cycle of 20,000 operating hours. The MSM020B-0300-NN-C0-CC0 IndraDyn S motor complies with EN standards and EC directives.
