Product Description

The Rexroth Bosch brand of servomotors, especially the IndraDyn S series, are widely and highly regarded over others due to their characteristic high dynamic range, long lifespan, efficiency and reliability. Belonging to this category of exceptionally crafted and specialized servomotors, the MSK131D-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NNNN offers a compact design, high torque density and an impressive range of performance.

This servomotor has the biggest size in the IndraDyn S series, and this is due to its ‘MSK131D’ size and length descriptor: it suggests a frame length of 610mm, a centering diameter of 250mm and a flange size of 260mm. Based on its size and housing design, it can achieve the following mechanical outputs: a continuous torque of 160Nm at standstill, a large torque of 495Nm and a speed of 3000min-1 at maximum performance. The electrical capacity of its winding type is also quite significant: it operates with a continuous current of 65.2A, winding inductivity of 3mH, and a maximum current of 293.4A for maximum torque requirements.

To dissipate the heat generated by the motor during loading operations (within recommended limits), this motor uses the natural convection cooling approach. With the option for fan mounting, this motor supports cooling for operations exceeding the recommended ambient temperature of 0-40; the maximum permissible housing temperature is however up to 155 . This servomotor uses a shaft with keyway (as prescribed in DIN 6885-1) and sealing rings. It has no holding brake and features a pair of electrical connectors to the A-side: the electrical connectors are for power supply and the integrated encoder output. With the option for encoder feedback via a single-turn Hiperface optical encoder, this motor is not only suitable for high torque applications, but equally offers a standard level of positional precision in operation.
