The MSK101E-0450-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN model is designed and developed by Bosch Rexroth to develop a cost-efficient motion control system. The MSK101 synchronous motor is equipped with a multiturn absolute Hiperface encoder that converts the rotational motion of the motor shaft into electrical signals and transmits them to the drive controller for detecting the position of the shaft. The MSK motor should only be under the ambient conditions prescribed in the MSK user manual. The ambient temperature range for this unit is 0 to +40 degree Celsius, without derating. The motor is supplied by an installation guide for easy commissioning. The phenomenon of natural convection is used in this synchronous motor to maintain the overall temperature of the motor housing. The cooling ribs of the synchronous motor should be cleaned after a regular interval of time for sufficient heat dissipation. The MSK101 synchronous motor offers form-fitting transmission of torque due to its shaft with keyway. A sealing ring is placed to avoid lubricant leakage. The motor can be installed in IMV1, IMV3, and IMB5 mounting positions due to its B05 flange mounting design.

The model MSK101E-0450-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN comes with a holding brake that produces the holding torque of 70 Nm to clamp the servo-axis at standstill during deceleration mode. The motor housing is equipped with a B-side power connector and it generates the continuous torque of 70 – 80.5 Nm at the rated current of 58.3 – 67.6 A. The torque constant for this MSK motor is 1.32 Nm/A. The model has a discharge capacity of 16.7 nF. The model can be shipped along with a one-year warranty by Wake Industrial.
