The MSK synchronous motors belong to Bosch Rexroth's powerful IndraDyn S motor family. They are characterized by high dynamics, a high torque density, and an extremely high degree of precision, all fitted in a compact construction. The combination of the MSK motors with IndraDrive control units creates high-performance drive systems with a flexible configuration that provides innovative solutions for new drive applications. Their typical areas of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food processing and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
Thanks to its optical encoder, the MSK101D-0202-FN-S3-AB0-NNNN has high precision. The single-turn encoder has a Hiperface interface and 16 signal periods. It also has a data memory that preserves the information obtained even after switching off the machine. Additionally, it stores the motor type name, control loop parameters, and other relevant parameters. With an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 65, this MSK synchronous servo motor has high operational reliability. It is protected against dust penetration, shock, and water jets sprayed from all directions. The electrical connection of the motor is via its Side A.
