The MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNAN is a 46.2kg model of the MSK servo motors equipped with a holding brake of 70Nm torque. This holding brake works with the principle of electrical release and prevents it from starting up from standstill. Because of its sealed housing, the motor is safe for operation under poor environmental conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to the EN 60529 standard, indicating that the risk of dust ingress is eliminated. It is also resistant to penetration by multidirectional water jet sprays. There is a KTY84 thermal sensor in the stator of this servo motor to monitor its temperature and protect it from potentially harmful overload conditions. This sensor works with another integrated temperature monitoring system called the temperature model.

An integrated single-turn absolute encoder with Hiperface detects the absolute, indirect position of the MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNAN within one mechanical motor rotation. It eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. Thanks to its data memory, the motor’s startup is accelerated, and it can adapt to its drive controller without the risk of damage. This data memory stores information like the motor type name and its control loop parameters. The output shaft in the MSK model is one with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A.
