The motor converts electrical power into tightly regulated rotary motion for industrial axes used in handling robots, packaging lines, and machining centers. When paired with an IndraDrive controller, it supplies fast torque response and precise positioning in automated production environments. Such motion behavior is useful on axes that start and stop frequently or follow changing position commands during normal operation.

Its cooling relies on natural convection, so the housing dissipates heat without external fans while supporting continuous operation within its intended duty range. Feedback is delivered through an EnDat2.1 interface that transmits data from an optical measuring system with 2048 signal periods per revolution, which supports fine position control.
