Designed as a compact, high-torque drive element, it links directly to an IndraDrive inverter and supplies rotary motion for indexing tables, robotic joints, and other CNC or packaging axes where rapid acceleration and repeatable positioning are required in industrial automation. The motor integrates an optical encoder and an electrically released holding brake to maintain shaft position during power loss. This arrangement supports precise motion control during operation and secure standstill holding when an axis must remain in place.

Cooling relies on natural convection, so heat is dissipated through the housing without fans or liquid lines when cabinet airflow is limited. The housing is sealed to IP65, which helps keep dust and low-pressure water jets away from live parts during washdown routines.
