The unit uses natural convection cooling, so heat is dissipated through the housing surface without auxiliary blowers. An electrically released holding brake supplies 70 Nm of static torque to secure the shaft when power is removed. The housing has an IP65 protection rating, which helps keep dust and low-pressure water jets away from internal components. The motor uses size 100 with the longer C frame, which gives it a larger housing than the shorter version in the same platform. Electrical supply connections are arranged on the right side, which can simplify cable routing in confined machine layouts. Torque is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway, making the motor suitable for couplings, pulleys, and geared drive elements that need positive mechanical engagement. The stator uses winding code 0300, and the matching drive must be set for that electrical configuration. Operation is permitted in an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 °C, which suits many enclosed industrial installations where stable thermal conditions are maintained.
