Product Description

The MSK100B-0400-NN-S1-AG0-NNNN is an industrial servo motor. It is designed and developed by Bosch. The motor is equipped with an integrated singleturn encoder that permits absolute, indirect position recording within one mechanical rotation. The encoder replaces separate incremental encoders on the motor. Interface on the encoder is Hiperface. The optical encoder is rated for 128 signal periods. After a power failure or after the first power on, the axis must always at first be moved to its home position. Centering diameter of the servo motor is 130 millimeters. The diameter of the smooth motor shaft is 32 millimeters. The shaft includes a sealing ring and a frontal centering hole with "DS" thread according to DIN 332, part 2, edition 05.83. The motor mounts through mounting holes on the 165 millimeter motor flange.

The length of the servo motor housing is 368 millimeters. The motor housing has a standard design. The MSK100B-0400-NN-S1-AG0-NNNN motor does not include a holding brake. Two options for cooling are available: surface cooling and natural convection. Both axial and radial cooling fans are available for operators that require motor operation with surface cooling. Axial fans are suited to applications that require the slimmest possible design. Radial fans are suited to applications that require the shortest possible motor design. Fans are available for different input voltages including single-phase 115 Volts AC, single phase 230 Volts AC, and three-phase 400 to 480 Volts AC. Sealing air accessory kits enable the introduction of a defined overpressure into the motor interior. This process reliably prevents the penetration of damaging liquids through endangered sealing points. Sealing air is used in all installation locations where moisture or coolants come into direct contact with the motors, especially in wet machining centers.
