The Bosch MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AG1-RNNN is an industrial servo motor. It is part of the MSK product line. The motor is suited to applications such as robotics, printing machines, machine tools and metal-forming machines. Improper motor handling can lead to injury and equipment damage. Therefore only qualified personnel should handle the motor and associated industrial equipment. Moreover, personnel working with the motor should read, understand and implement all safety instructions laid out in the product documentation. No changes should be made to the motor hardware or software. Any motor found to be damaged during inspection should not be installed or put into operation. MSK motors must only be used with accessories specified in the product documentation. The drive controller connected to MSK motors must be programmed before the servo system is put into operation.
Bosch provides several options to operators for the MSK series of motors, which allow matching of the motors to a wide range of applications. Bosch provides multiple options for motor design, motor encoder, power connector location, output shaft, and holding brakes. The MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AG1-RNNN features a housing with increased concentricity and run-out. The main output shaft is smooth and is equipped with a sealing ring. The seal should be inspected periodically and replaced when found to be worn out. The power connection on the MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AG1-RNNN motor is on side A. The encoder is an optical multiturn device with EnDat 2.1 interface and 2048 signal periods. The holding brake on the MSK100B-0400-NN-M2-AG1-RNNN motor is rated for 32 Nm holding torque.
