Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors set new standards in the industry as they are manufactured from a combination of past knowledge and new technology. These motors have varying degrees of driving powers and different interfaces, allowing them to be used in user-specific applications. They are characterized by their high dynamics, compact construction, and high torque density. They also display high degrees of precision with their new optical encoder systems. Their areas of applications include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.

The motor encoder of the MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN is the single-turn optical encoder with the Hiperface interface and a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The encoder permits absolute, indirect position recording within one mechanical motor rotation and gives it a high degree of precision. This motor has a plain shaft with a radial shaft sealing ring. The plain shaft provides a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft hub connection with a high degree of quiet running. Its radial shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760, and it prevents fluids from entering the shaft and keeps the shaft seal greased for a lifetime.

Operating the MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN requires an ambient temperature of 0°C to 40°C It should also be mounted at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
