Product Description:

Synchronous servo motors such as those in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth are suited to solve various factory automation challenges. These motors are a class of IndraDyn S motors and are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are typically used in metal-forming machines, machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, and robotics.

The MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-AG0-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, but it can reach a maximum speed of 4,500 revolutions per minute. Thanks to the data memory of its encoder, its bootup is rapid, and it can adapt to its drive controller with minimal risks of damage. This encoder utilizes the optical measuring principle and has the singleturn configuration with a Hiperface interface. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation.

A plain shaft is present in the MSK100B-0300-NN-S1-AG0-NNNN to ensure a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and enhance noise reduction during the motor’s operation. Its shaft sealing ring is designed in line with  DIN 3760 - design A, and it prevents liquids like oils from entering the motor through the shaft. This motor’s construction meets the demands of protection category IP 65 according to DIN EN 60529; hence, it cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic materials, including dust. It is also resistant to sprays from jet water from a nozzle in all directions. Since it is cooled via natural convection, it is described as a self-cooling motor. In the cooling method, the heat generated during its use is transferred to the ambient air.
