Product Description

The Rexroth Indradyn S synchronous servo motors set a new standard in the industry as they are manufactured from a combination of past knowledge and recent technology. These motors have varying degrees of driving powers and different interfaces, allowing them to be used in user-specific applications. They are characterized by high dynamics, high torque density, and high precision due to their new optical encoder systems. Also, with their compact design, they support space-conserving installation. Their applications include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.

The MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN features an electrically released holding brake of 70Nm holding torque to hold the axis when the machine is in the de-energized state. It also has a standard plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring to provide a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. The motor is equipped with an optical multiturn encoder with Hiperface to permit absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. With its data memory, the encoder also ensures a quick and easy startup because it stores parameters like the motor type name, the control loop parameters, and the other motor parameters.

Coated in a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water, the MSK100B-0300-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN has a high level of resistance to damage by dilute acids/alkaline solutions, water, sea-water, sewage, and current mineral oils. It also displays limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. For optimum performance, it should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and set up at 1000m above mean sea level. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65.
