Product Description

The MSK100B-0200-NN-S2-BP0-NNNN is one among the various high quality IndraDyn S MSK series synchronous motors offered the Rexroth Bosch company in its wide range. The servo device has a B length, a winding code of 200 and a size of 100. The 215mm diameter size makes the motor quite compact and capable of placing it anywhere. A high degree of precision, a compact construction and a high torque density are some noteworthy characteristics of this unit. The ideal operating temperature for this motor ranges between 0°C and 40°C. The unit cools itself automatically through natural convection without deploying any fan for this purpose. It features an optical encoder with single turn EnDat 2.1 and 2048 increments. The device supports electrical connectivity with a B-side connector. The unit also includes a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and a keyway designed according to DIN 6885-1 specifications. It does not encompass a holding brake.         

The synchronous motor has a thermal time constant of 40 minutes, a maximum operating speed of 4,100min-1 and a sound pressure level of less than 75dBA.  The motor also encompasses four pole pairs, a maximum current rating of 66.2A and a constant voltage of 129.5V/min-1at 20°C. The rotor has a very low moment of inertia. The motor features an EN 60034-1 insulation class and an IP65 degree of protection.

The unit must always be placed in a horizontal position in a dust-free, corrosion-protected, dry and vibration-free location. The motor must also be kept only in this position when it is transported from one place to another. It is delivered along with a protective sleeve and cover on the drive shaft and flange sockets. They must be placed on the motor when it is being transported and should be removed from the unit only just before it is assembled. The motor can also function as a rotary main or linear drive.
