Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the MSK100B-0200-NN-S2-AG0-RSNN as part of the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. This synchronous servo motor in size 100 with length code B supplies accurate torque for indexing tables, gantries, and automated presses. In motion systems, the unit converts drive commands into regulated mechanical motion for closed-loop speed and position control. Its compact frame supports use on coordinated axes where stable response and repeatable movement are required through frequent start-stop cycles.

Heat is removed by natural convection, so the motor relies on its housing surface and surrounding airflow rather than forced cooling hardware. An IP65 housing helps protect the stator windings from dust and low-pressure water jets in industrial environments. Position feedback is generated by an EnDat2.1 optical encoder with 2048 signal periods in single-turn format, allowing the controller to track shaft position accurately over a single digital link. The encoder connection is arranged on the A-side, which can simplify cable routing in compact machine layouts. The motor does not include a holding brake, which reduces rotating inertia for applications that use external holding methods. The internal winding uses code 0200, which corresponds to electrical values matched to compatible HCS drive amplifiers.

The motor is intended for ambient temperatures of 0–40 °C and uses insulation class 155 for thermal durability. It also has increased concentricity and explosion protection, making it suitable for installations that need improved running accuracy and protective measures in hazardous areas. A plain shaft accepts shrink-fit or keyless hubs, so couplings, gearheads, or measuring elements can be mounted directly on the shaft end. Because cooling is passive, the motor can be installed vertically or horizontally. The encoder retains position information at startup, so the axis can resume operation without a homing cycle.
