The MSK100B-0200-NN-S2-AG0-NNNN is one of the best synchronous motors by the Rexroth Bosch in its IndraDyn S MSK series. The company is well-known for its wide range of motors that it offers to meet varying demands. The motor comes with a protective cover and sleeve on the flange sockets and the drive shaft. They must be placed exactly this way during the storage and transportation of the motor. The motor must be transported only in the horizontal position. The cover and sleeve should be removed from the unit only just before it is assembled.

The motor has some vital characteristics that make it stand apart from similar motors of the manufacturer’s competitors. These aspects comprise a compact construction, a high degree of precision and a high torque density. The ideal operating temperature for the synchronous servomotor is 0°C to 40°C. The unit has a maximum torque of 102Nm, a winding code of 200 and a leakage capacitance of 10.3nF. It features a single turn EnDat2.1 optical encoder that can be incremented 2048 times. The motor can also operate as a rotary main or linear drive.

The synchronous motor supports electrical connectivity with a connector on its A-side. The unit encompasses a plain shaft with a standard shaft sealing ring and does not have a holding brake. The 100 size motor has a diameter of 215mm. It has the capability of cooling itself with its natural convention cooling mode. The device should be lifted only using a crane with lifting sling belts hooked on to it and around the motor. It must always be placed horizontally in a corrosion-protected, dust-free, vibration-free and dry location. The motor can be widely used in foodstuff and packaging machines. The servo unit must be removed from the power supply unit or mains voltage when it is used with electric parts that have voltage potentials of more than 50V.
