MSK100B-0200-NN-S1-BP1-NNNN is a top-notch synchronous motor manufactured by the Rexroth Bosch Group. This synchronous motor is a part of the IndraDyn S MSK series offered by the manufacturer. Some key highlights of the company’s motors are high torque density, compact construction and a very high degree of accuracy or precision. The rotor enclosed in the motor has a very low moment of inertia without the brake.

The synchronous motor is enclosed in an insulated structure comprising an aluminum flange when the permissible temperature increase is 60K. In this case, a steel flange is used. It is recommended to fix the flange using M12 x 40 screw size and 87Nm tightening torque. The motor operates at an environmental temperature of approximately 40°C. The unit features a continuous torque of 28Nm and a continuous current of 14.7A in standby mode. It encompasses a winding resistance of 0.58 Ohms at 20°C and a winding inductivity of 7,600mH. The B length servo motor has four pole pairs, a size of 100 and a winding code of 0200 with natural convection for cooling mode eliminating the need for a fan attachment. The synchronous motor depicts a maximum operating speed of 4,100 min-1, a thermal time constant of 40 minutes and less than 75dBA sound pressure level. It encompasses a shaft with keyway designed according to DIN 6885-1 specifications, a shaft sealing ring and an electrically releasable holding brake.

The unit offers an IP65 degree of protection and an EN 60034-1 insulation class. The motor must not be used in instances of extremely high temperatures or when there is high temperature fluctuation. The MSK series Rexroth motor is intended to be used as a servo, linear or rotary main drive. In some cases, it can also function as a kit motor.
