Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MSK075E-0450-NN-S3-UG1-NNNN for the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. This servo motor converts electrical energy into controlled mechanical rotation for positioning tables, pick-and-place modules, and high-speed packaging axes where repeatable motion is required. Its compact format supports use on dynamic machine axes that need accurate response during frequent starts, stops, and direction changes.

The motor relies on natural convection to remove heat, so free airflow around the housing is important during continuous duty. A sealing grade of IP65 helps protect the housing against dust and low-pressure water spray in exposed machine areas. Position feedback is provided through Hiperface, using a capacitive single-turn encoder that supplies absolute position data together with analog sine-cosine signals. When power is removed, a spring-applied brake supplies 23 Nm of holding torque and releases electrically when motion is enabled. Winding code 0450 sets the electrical characteristics expected by compatible drive systems, and the encoder connection can be rotated 240° to simplify cable routing.

The motor uses size 075 with length code E, giving it a stator package suited to mid-range servo applications that need a balance of torque and inertia. Operation is rated for ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C, which fits common factory and cabinet conditions. The encoder provides 16 signal periods per mechanical revolution, and the drive can interpolate that signal for smooth speed control. A plain shaft supports connection to pulleys, couplings, or gearboxes, and insulation class 155 helps protect the windings during sustained thermal load. The housing is standard, so the motor can be integrated without special enclosure features or auxiliary cooling hardware.
