The MSK075E-0450-NN-M1-UG2-NNNN is an AC synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It converts controlled electrical input from a drive into precisely regulated mechanical rotation for positioning and process axes in industrial automation. When used in a closed-loop servo system, the motor supports accurate speed control and repeatable positioning during frequent starts, stops, and direction changes. Its synchronous design also helps maintain stable motion response in applications that require precise coordination between the drive and the load.

This motor uses an E-length, size 075 frame with winding code 0450 in the standard design. Heat dissipation is handled solely through natural convection, so no forced-air hardware is required. The integrated electrically released holding brake supplies 30 Nm of static torque to secure vertical loads when power is removed. The housing is sealed to IP65, which helps block dust and water jets from internal components and the rotatable 240° encoder connector. Position feedback is delivered through a Hiperface optical encoder that outputs 128 signal periods per mechanical revolution, giving the drive both incremental tracks and absolute initialization data for closed-loop control.

The feedback device is a multi-turn absolute system, so position values remain available after extended power interruptions and during slow manual movement. Mechanical coupling to gearboxes or direct-drive loads is supported by the motor’s plain shaft configuration, which avoids keyway stress concentrations and suits shrink-fit components. Continuous operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from 0–40 °C, provided airflow around the housing is not obstructed. Class 155 insulation allows the windings to operate at elevated temperatures without premature aging, and the E-length housing supports heat flow during cyclic operation.
