The same applies to the MSK servo motors by the company, designed to be used for applications like metal-forming machines, food packaging and processing machines, and machine tools.
The MSK075D-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. It is built with a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for position detection and speed control. This encoder’s data memory stores information like the type name and control loop parameters to speed up the motor’s startup and ensure its safe adaptation to the drive controller. With its plain output shaft, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash is guaranteed in this MSK motor. It comes with a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. The motor can reach a maximum speed of 4,800 revolutions per minute and has a rotor whose moment of inertia is 0.00490 kgm2.
Designed with a sealed housing that gives it an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating, the MSK075D-0300-NN-S2-UG0-RNNN can be operated under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage. This is because it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jet sprays from different directions. It is cooled via natural convection and has bearings with a nominal service lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. Thanks to its two temperature monitoring systems, damage due to thermal overload can be prevented in this motor. These are the temperature model and the temperature sensor of the KTY84 type.
