Product Description:

Several features distinguish Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors, such as their compact build, high torque density, and flexibility. Since they allow the integration of options, they can be designed to meet application-specific requirements. The motors’ typical applications include metal-forming machines, machine tools, and printing and paper processing machines.

The MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG2-NNNN is one of the servo motors in the MSK family of the IndraDyn S group by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a single-turn absolute encoder that uses the optical measurement method to carry out its function. This encoder has the Hiperface interface and detects the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds. An added feature of the encoder is its data memory, where the motor’s parameters are stored to ensure its rapid start-up and risk-free adaptation to its drive controller. The MSK model can reach a maximum speed of 4,200 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 84.0Nm. It can briefly accommodate a maximum current of 56.3A and has four pole pairs.

Natural convection is the method through which heat is efficiently eliminated from the MSK071E-0300-NN-S1-UG2-NNNN. It works by exchanging heat with the ambient air and transferring it to the walls of the machine by conduction. A KTY84 thermal sensor in the motor’s stator prevents heat damage by initiating various actions at specified high temperatures. It is aided by the temperature model, an independent temperature monitoring system. With its plain output shaft, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and noiseless operation can be achieved. Like others in the MSK series, the shaft comes with a shaft sealing ring to prevent fluid entry.
