The MSK071E-0300-NN-M2-UG0-NNNN is a synchronous servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It works with IndraDrive controllers to provide closed-loop speed and position control in packaging stations, pick-and-place axes, and material-handling systems. By combining a compact stator with high-resolution feedback, the motor converts electrical energy into precise rotary motion for continuous-duty and indexing applications. This makes it suitable for automated machinery that requires repeatable motion during rapid starts, stops, and position changes.

Cooling is by natural convection, so the housing removes heat without an auxiliary fan. The encoder connector is rotatable 240°, allowing the plug to be positioned for the preferred cable route. Position data and drive parameters are transmitted through EnDat 2.1, and the optical system provides 2048 signal periods per revolution for fine interpolation in the controller. Because the encoder is multiturn absolute, it retains shaft revolution data after power is removed and avoids a homing cycle at startup. The enclosure is rated IP65 to help protect internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets. The motor uses the standard design, size 071, length E, and winding code 0300 for mid-range torque duties.

Operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C, so normal shop conditions do not require derating. A plain shaft supports backlash-free clamp couplings, and insulation class 155 allows the winding to withstand elevated internal temperatures without premature aging. The motor does not include a holding brake, so applications that require static load retention must use an external brake or another locking method. The absence of a holding brake also reduces rotating mass. The sealed stator and optical encoder help maintain reliable feedback in areas where washdown cleaning is used.
