A compact construction, high torque density, and precise encoder systems are some of the features of the IndraDyn S motors. These motors are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, and the MSK motors belong to this family. They are typically used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG2-NNNN is an MSK motor in the IndraDyn S family with a single-turn motor encoder. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and detects the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation. Thanks to its data memory, it promotes the quick and easy startup of the motor and its safe adjustment to the drive controller. This MSK motor can reach a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and generate a maximum torque of 66.0Nm. It is cooled by natural convection, where heat is transferred to the ambient air or the walls of the machine construction by conduction. To protect it against thermal overload, it is equipped with a KTY84 temperature sensor.
The housing coat of the MSK071D-0450-NN-S1-UG2-NNNN consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It is highly resistant to dilute acids and alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils.
