Product Description:

The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is an intelligent drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is composed of powerful servo motor models like those in the MSK series. These synchronous motors feature a compact size and high torque density. They are typically used in printing and paper processing machines, metal-forming machines, machine tools, and robotics.

The MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UP2-RNNN is a servo motor in the MSK series of synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth. It is built with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder with a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. This optical encoder is highly precise and records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It also ensures that the motor starts up rapidly and adjusts to its drive controller without any damage.  This is thanks to its data storage, where the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored. The MSK model’s maximum speed is 3,800 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque is 66.0Nm.

Cooling is achieved through natural convection in the MSK071D-0300-NN-M2-UP2-RNNN. The heat generated during the motor’s operation is transferred to the ambient air by convection and to the machine construction by conduction. Damage due to thermal overload is also prevented here due to the presence of a thermal sensor. This sensor is the KTY84 type and is built into the stator of the motor. The output shaft for connecting machine elements to be driven to the motor’s shaft is one with a shaft sealing ring and keyway according to DIN 6885-1. An electrically released holding brake of 30Nm is also present to hold the axes at a standstill when the motor is de-energized.
