The MSK071D-0300-FN-M1-UG0-NNNN is a synchronous servomotor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for electrically commutated axes that demand high continuous torque, fast position feedback, and simplified integration with IndraDrive controllers used in precision automation. The motor is suited to packaging, handling, and indexing applications where accurate motion must be maintained during frequent starts, stops, and speed changes.

This motor uses liquid cooling to carry heat away from the stator so full torque can be sustained even inside compact machine frames. The motor uses winding code 0300, which corresponds to resistance and inductance values matched to the current limits of standard IndraDrive power sections. Rotor position is captured by an optical encoder that communicates through the Hiperface serial interface. With 128 signal periods per mechanical turn, it provides fine angular resolution for smooth velocity control. The encoder records multiple turns because it is a multiturn absolute device, allowing the drive to recover shaft position after a power cycle without a homing move. The encoder connector can be rotated 240 degrees to simplify cable routing, and the motor has a standard design with D motor length and insulation class 155 for typical industrial duty.

A plain shaft without a key transmits torque to couplings while helping minimize vibration. The housing has an IP65 rating, which blocks dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets during washdown maintenance. Continuous operation is permitted in an ambient range of 0–40 °C when used with the drive's thermal model. The frame is motor size 071, and it uses flange geometry compatible with Rexroth mounting kits. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so static load retention must be provided by drive torque or an external clamp.
