One of the servo motor series in the system is the MSK motors, a class of motors in the IndraDyn S family. These motors are used as rotary and servo main drives in robotics, handling systems, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK071C-0450-NN-M1-UG2-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the MSK series of the IndraDyn S family. It is a compact MSK model with a high torque density and is suited for high dynamics. It is cooled by natural convection and is described as a self-cooling motor where heat is dissipated through natural convection to the ambient air. The encoder of this servo motor is an optical encoder with a multiturn absolute encoder and 128 increments. It displays a high degree of precision and is used to control the motor’s speed and position.
