Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth is the manufacturer of the motors in the MSK motor series, which have a wide range of applications. They can be used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics. The motors in this series are characterized by high dynamics and improved precision due to new encoder systems. They also have a compact construction and high torque density.
The optical encoder of the MSK070E-0450-NN-M1-UP1-NSNN is the multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and allows the absolute, indirect position detection of the motor within 4,096 mechanical rotations. The motor is equipped with a shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring that stops fluid from entering the shaft. It also has a holding brake that holds the axle when the motor is disconnected from power. Its design is a standard and explosion protection design according to equipment group II, categories 3G and 3D according to DIN EN 60079.
The MSK070E-0450-NN-M1-UP1-NSNN has a protection class IP 65. This degree of protection means it is protected against the penetration of dust and water jets. In addition, there is complete shock protection for the motor. The housing varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It has chemical resistance against diluted acids/alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils and limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oil. The motor is a maintenance-free, self-cooling motor where heat dissipation is realized by natural convection to the ambient air and by heat conduction into the machine construction.
