Bosch Rexroth developed the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system for a wide range of industrial applications. One of the components of this system is the servo motor like those in the MSK series. These servo motors can be used for applications beyond what is given for servo motors. This is because it can be equipped with additional options and modules.

The MSK070D-0150-NN-S1-UG0-NNNN is a servo motor model of the MSK series in the IndraDyn S servo motor family. It is a compact motor with a high torque density and high precision. It achieves its precision with a single-turn encoder with a Hiperface interface. This encoder works with the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It allows recording of the absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for separate incremental encoders on the motor. Its data memory can store information like the motor type name, the control loop parameters, and the motor parameters.

The housing of the MSK070D-0150-NN-S1-UG0-NNNN allows it to be cooled by natural cooling. It is a self-cooling motor where heat dissipation is achieved through natural convection to the ambient air. Its shaft is plain and with a shaft sealing ring. This shaft ensures a non-positive, shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and a high degree of quiet running.
