Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MSK070C-0150-NN-S1-UP0-NSNN, a servomotor in the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. When paired with a compatible servo drive, it converts electrical command values into controlled torque and speed for CNC axes, packaging actuators, and other automation equipment. The synchronous motor design supports accurate rotary motion during indexing, contouring, and repeated start-stop cycles. Its size 070 frame with length code C gives the unit a medium overall envelope that suits compact machine layouts while still supporting responsive motion.

Cooling is handled by natural convection, so the motor does not require auxiliary fans during operation within an ambient range of 0 to 40 °C. Because heat is released through the housing surface, surrounding machine layouts do not need separate blower hardware at the motor. Feedback is transmitted through the Hiperface interface, and the optical encoder provides 128 signal periods per mechanical revolution for precise position data. A rotatable 240° connector allows the cable outlet to be aligned as needed, and the housing has an IP65 rating to resist dust and water spray in industrial environments.

The motor is available in standard and explosion-protection versions for installations that require different protection concepts. Torque is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway, which supports secure coupling to pulleys or rigid drive elements, and the winding insulation meets class 155 for elevated internal temperatures. The unit is supplied without a holding brake, so any load that must remain fixed during power loss requires external holding force. The single-turn optical encoder is suitable when absolute position is needed within one revolution and multi-turn tracking is handled elsewhere in the control system.
