The MSK061C-0600-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor. It is part of the MSK series from Bosch Rexroth. The motor comes with an integrated optical singleturn encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. Singleturn encoders can provide feedback within one turn of the motor shaft. The encoder measures motor parameters and shares this information through a feedback cable with the drive controller that controls the motor. The encoder is rated for 2048 signal periods. Both the power and feedback connectors on the motor are 240-degree rotatable. Bosch has not provided a holding brake on the motor. However holding brakes are available for MSK motors and can be ordered if required. The housing of the MSK061C-0600-NN-S2-UP0-RNNN is designed with increased concentricity and run out according to DIN 42955. The shaft on the motor includes a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a sealing ring.

The function of the sealing ring is to protect motor bearings from dust and moisture ingress. The sealing ring on the motor shaft also prevents the leakage of oil from the motor.
