One of the servo motor series in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is the MSK series. This class of motors is one of those in the IndraDyn S family of servo motors. The motors that comprise the series are available in different grades of torque, speeds, and sizes and can be adapted for use in applications like robotics and metal-forming machines.

The MSK061C-0300-NN-S3-UG0-NNNN is a model of the IndraDyn S MSK servo motors in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. Its most prominent features are its high torque density and compact construction. Others include its highly precise encoder system and its flexibility to suit different kinds of applications. This motor’s encoder is the single-turn encoder with a Hiperface interface and 16 signal periods. It uses the optical measuring principle to determine its rotor position and sends the required signals to the drive controller, which transfers the determined position value to a superordinate controller. The encoder also aids the rapid startup of the motor thanks to its data memory.

With its standard plain shaft, the MSK061C-0300-NN-S3-UG0-NNNN ensures a non-positive and backlash-free shaft-hub connection with minimal noise during its operation.
