The MSK060B-0600-NN-S3-UP0-NNNN is one of the MSK servo motor models in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn S group of motors. This motor is a size 060 model with a frame length of C. It is a self-cooling motor whose housing design allows the elimination of heat from the motor by natural convection. Its electrical connections use a plug-in connector, rotatable up to 240o. The use of ready-made cables by Bosch Rexroth simplifies the installation and mounting of the motor by ensuring simple, quick, and fault-free assembly and commissioning. Its output shaft is one with a shaft sealing ring and keyway according to the DIN 6885-1 standard. The shaft allows form-fitting torque transmission with constant direction.
The housing of the MSK060B-0600-NN-S3-UP0-NNNN has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to IEC 60529. It completely encloses the motor and prevents the entry of solid objects and liquids. It is coated with a housing vanish that consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This coating provides high resistance against diluted acids and alkaline solutions, water, seawater, and current mineral oils. It also provides limited resistance against organic solvents and hydraulic oils.
