The motor converts electrical energy from a compatible drive into controlled rotary torque, which helps synchronize conveyors, tooling, and other moving elements with accurate response during changing load conditions.

It achieves heat dissipation through natural convection, eliminating the need for external blowers while keeping the stator within safe limits under continuous duty. The housing carries an IP65 rating that helps keep dust and low-pressure water jets away from internal components. Position feedback is provided by an optical encoder with 128 signal periods per revolution that communicates through Hiperface, giving the drive a digital feedback channel for position and speed control.
