This feedback is used by the drive controller for managing the motor speed and other parameters. The feedback device on the MSK050C-0300-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN motor is a capacitive encoder with Hiperface interface that is rated for 16 signal periods. The encoder draws maximum 50 milliamps at 7 to 12 Volts DC. The MSK050C-0300-NN-M3-UG0- NNNN motor does not feature a holding brake. However Bosch does provide a 6 Nm rated holding brake as an option. The motor housing belongs to the IP65 protection category. Thermal class of the motor is 155.
