The motor relies on natural convection for heat dissipation, so airflow around the housing should remain unobstructed during installation. Position feedback is delivered by an optical encoder over the Hiperface interface; the sensor provides 128 signal periods per mechanical revolution and stores position data in a multi-turn absolute format, so the axis can retain location data after power is removed. Insulation class 155 allows higher internal winding temperatures without damaging the insulation system during repeated load changes. Winding code 0600 identifies the stator arrangement and electrical values used by the matching IndraDrive controller for current-loop tuning and smooth torque response. This helps the drive maintain predictable current regulation during repeated starts, stops, and speed changes.
