Product Description

The Bosch Rexroth MSK040B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-NNNN is a servomotor. It is designed to be used in combination with compatible drive controllers from Bosch. The motor provides feedback from an integrated optical encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder is rated for 2048 signal periods and provides feedback within one shaft revolution. The current and voltage specifications for the encoder are 150 milliamps and 3.6 to 14 Volts DC respectively.  The feedback from the motor is used by the drive controller to vary its output so that the motor performance closely matches the desired parameters. The MSK040B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-NNNN uses natural convection for cooling. A cooling fan can also be used if required. The desired ambient temperature range for motor operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The main shaft on the MSK040B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-NNNN is smooth and includes a sealing ring. The power/feedback connectors are 240-degree rotatable.

The MSK040B-0600-NN-S2-UG0-NNNN does not feature a motor holding brake. The motor enclosure is IP65 rated.
