The MSK040B-0600-NN-S1-UG0-NSNN servomotor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It converts electrical energy from a matched drive into rotational motion with tight position and velocity control, serving as the prime mover on pick-and-place arms, packaging spindles, and indexing tables. By combining permanent-magnet excitation with integrated feedback, the unit supports dynamic duty cycles and repeatable accuracy in industrial automation cells.

The motor relies on Natural convection for thermal management, so heat is shed through the housing without external fans or liquid circuits. Its output end is configured with a Plain shaft, allowing direct coupling through press-fit or clamp collars while eliminating keyway stress points. Position feedback is supplied by a Hiperface interface, enabling digital communication of angle, speed, and diagnostic data to Rexroth controllers over a two-wire channel. Internally, the encoder employs Optical sensing, delivering high fidelity of incremental tracks.
