Product Description

The MSK040B-0600-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN synchronous servo motor is a mechanical motor used for industrial applications where highly precise continuous movements are required. The electric motor is designed by the Rexroth Indramat according to 155 insulation class and IP65 protection category. It also has a modified rotatable electrical connector through which the power and motor feedback ceable enters the housing of the motor.

The MSK040B-0600-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN servo motor has high operability and functionality. It operates with the capacitive encoder, transmitting a high-frequency signal through the rotor that is etched with a sinusoidal pattern. As the rotor moves, this pattern modulates the signal in a predictable way. The receiver reads the modulations, and onboard electronics translate them into increments of 4,096 distinguishable rotary motion.           The motor also has a winding resistance of 8.4 ohms at 20 degrees Celsius and generates a maximum rotor torque of 5.1-newton meters. It produces a maximum rotor speed of 7500 radii per minute and can provide a reliable start-stop movement for various types of industrial machines such as machine tools, food packaging machines, metal cutting, and metal forming machines. It can also resist diluted acid concentration and water ingression.

The MSK040B-0600-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN motor produces highly accurate repeated movements over a long period of operability. It has a heat regulatory mechanism, where heat is cooled by natural convection, which is cost-effective and does not need an additional internal fan. This heat regulatory functions work to reduce bearing friction, thereby improving the efficiency and durability of the motor. The housing of this motor is specially structured to allow for the direct integration of the motor into the industrial servo system. The maximum permissible ambient temperature for this motor is 45 degrees celsius.
